Junior Finance Executive | Audit Operations| International Accounting Firm
The Opportunity
Your duties will include (but will not be limited to) the following:
- Perform audits in the areas of process compliance, financial statements, applicable directives and regulations;
- Addressing audit issues and compliance risks as they arise;
- As required, review and clear responses to audit queries as directed by management;
- Maintain open communication with management and the audit team;
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding company’s policies, procedures, regulations, best practices, techniques and performance standards;
- Ensure KPIs are met for the different tasks.
Education, Experience and Skills
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting from a recognized university or part qualification in CIMA/ACCA/ICASL/CMA;
- Minimum 1 year working experience in finance (with exposure to an accounting system). Experience within an audit firm is not essential but would be an added advantage;
- High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work;
- Good verbal and written communication skills preferably in English;
- Well-developed computer skills;
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Finance Trainee | Audit Operations| International Accounting Firm
The Opportunity
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Currently pursuing a foundation level in CIMA/ACCA/CMA/AAT;
- Excellent results in GCE A/L preferably in Commerce Stream;
- Have a basic understanding of finance and accounting terms and concepts.
- Good verbal and written communication skills preferably in English;
- High attention to detail;
- Reasonable knowledge in Microsoft Excel would be an added advantage;
- Possesses a high energy level, strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Your duties will include (but will not be limited to) the following:
- Electronic loading of information and financial data using the company’s proprietary software with minimum errors;
- Performing first data verification and ensuring all documents are available;
- Performing some basic audit tasks;
- Supporting the audit team where required.
